Start with the problem, not the service. If people who find you are not calling, the website is usually the issue. If the right people are not finding you at all, local presence comes first. If you are not sure what makes your firm different, strategy comes before anything visual. Each service below has its own page with scope, timeline and the mistakes we see most.
-
Brand strategy and positioning
Decide what your firm stands for, who it is for and why an Oakville homeowner should pick it over the van parked next door.
-
Visual identity and brand kit
A logo, colour, type and layout system that reads clearly on a truck door, a quote PDF and a phone screen.
-
Websites for service firms
A fast, plainly written site where every page leads to a call, a text or an email.
-
Website redesign and migration
Replace a tired site without losing the search rankings, reviews and phone numbers it took years to earn.
-
Local brand presence
Make your Google profile, directory listings and review replies look and sound like the same company as your website.
Brand strategy and positioning
This is the thinking that makes everything else easier. We interview you, look at your last year of jobs, read your reviews and study how competitors in Oakville describe themselves. The output is a short positioning statement, a description of your ideal customer, a set of proof points and a tone of voice guide your office staff can actually use.
Choose this first if you are adding a new line of work, moving upmarket, splitting into a separate division, or if three competitors could swap names with you and nobody would notice. Details are on the brand strategy page.
Visual identity and brand kit
Identity is how the strategy looks. We design or refine the logo, then build the system around it: colour palette, typefaces, photography direction, and templates for quotes, invoices, social posts and vehicle artwork.
Choose this when your materials look like they came from four different companies, or when the logo falls apart at small sizes or from across a street. The visual identity page covers what the kit includes.
Websites for service firms
A service-firm website has one job: help a nervous homeowner decide you are safe to call. We write and build sites around service pages, real project write-ups, clear coverage and an obvious way to call, text or email, with no web forms to fill in.
Choose this if you have no site, a template site with stock photos, or a site that loads slowly on a phone. See the websites page.
Website redesign and migration
If your current site already ranks for some searches or has links from local organisations, replacing it carelessly can cost you those positions for months. Redesign and migration is the same build work as a new site, plus an inventory of every page, a redirect map and checks before and after launch.
Choose this if your site is more than a couple of years old and brings in at least some enquiries today. The redesign page explains the safeguards.
Local brand presence
Your Google Business Profile, directory listings and review replies are often the first version of your brand a homeowner sees. We align the names, categories, descriptions, photos and hours with your new brand, and write a reply style for reviews that sounds like you.
Choose this when your listings use an old name or logo, show different phone numbers, or when reviews go unanswered. Read the local brand presence page.
A simple way to decide
Answer these four questions honestly:
- Can you explain in one sentence why a homeowner should hire you rather than a competitor? If not, start with strategy.
- Would your truck, website and quote pass for the same company? If not, add identity.
- Does your website get visits but few calls? Then the site is the bottleneck.
- Do your Google profile and listings still show old details? Then fix presence alongside the site.
| Situation | Usual starting point |
|---|---|
| New firm, no site yet | Strategy-light, identity, website |
| Established firm, dated site that still ranks | Redesign and migration, local presence |
| Adding a division or moving upmarket | Strategy, identity, then a site |
| Good site, messy listings and reviews | Local presence |
How the work is paid for
All of this is delivered inside the Trades.Agency monthly plans, and the Enterprise plan includes a website design and build. Our pricing page sets out the plans and what drives cost. If you want to see how the approach has worked before, the results page shows results from our HVAC work.
We are a brand and marketing service, not a contractor. We will never quote, perform or subcontract the trade work itself.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to buy all five services?
No. Many firms start with a website rebuild and a light brand refresh. Others need strategy first because they are changing what they sell. We recommend the smallest set that fixes the real problem.
Can you work with a logo we already have?
Yes. If your logo is recognised locally and reasonably legible, we usually keep it and build a better system around it. Replacing a known mark has a cost, and we only suggest it when the old one is actively hurting you.
Do you print signs, wraps or uniforms?
No. We design the artwork and supply print-ready files and specifications. Your sign shop, wrap installer or uniform supplier produces and installs them.
Which service usually pays back fastest?
For most established firms, it is the website. It is where a homeowner decides whether to call, so even a modest lift in enquiries shows up quickly in booked work.
